easy to use and easy to find good accomodation ... We felt like at home, right away! ... We can only recommend the place. It is a wonderful place, everything was so perfect, we can hardly believe we are back at home.... ... As said earlier, TOP NOTCH place. It will get a high ranking from us! ... It is the most beautiful place in Tuscany! Very secluded, clean air, everything around you smells so fresh, lovely birds singing and no noise from anywhere - it's like a different world, perfect for vacationing! ... easy ... If you are looking for an ideal place nearby Florence (Firenze) stay at Le Cetinelle - only 1/2 hour away. But trust us... it's worth the additional drive. The place is so conveniently located next to many other worthwhile towns and village - there is no better place to stay. Two thumbs up and Five Star rating on our scale!!

We had a wonderful time at Le Centinell. Simonetta was a very gracious host and we would definitely stay there the next time we are in Greve.

What a wonderful place! Simonetta is very friendly and made us feel welcome right from the start. ... Simonetta had plenty of information about the local area, things to do, bus schedules, tourist attractions, etc. The view from the villa is breathtaking, the pictures on the websites don't do it justice. What a great place to enjoy Tuscany! ... Very smooth, credit cards accepted. ... At the time of booking there was no mention of a swimming pool, but when we arrived there was one! I think now the website has been updated with some additional information and pictures. ... What a place! This farmhouse in the Tuscan hills has beautiful accomodations, incredible views, close to all amenities. Great value, would go back in a heartbeat.

The road from Greve to Le Cetinelle is a very narrow and severly rutted dirt road.
The turn in Greve is 1 block past the 3rd stoplight, and not 1 block past the second stoplight. Once we found the correct place to turn in Greve, we had no problem finding Le Cetinelle due to the signs that were posted. ... The rooms we stayed in were very nice, large for Italian standards, and modern.
The views from Le Cetinelle out into the valleys below were breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. ... They did not take American Express, which put me in a bad situation. It would be best if this is mentioned in the reservation documents. ... It is a working vineyard, which I found to be a positive.
Simonetta is an absolutly great hostess. She made the stay even better than it should have been. ... A really nice old Tuscan farmhouse with beautiful views that has been updated to current standards, and is well run by a very nice and helpful manager, Simonetta.

Simonetta was there to welcome us and show us all facities on arrival. ... Le Cetinelle is a fabulous experience all round. ... Simonetta and her husband produce an excellent red wine and their own extra virgin olive oil that guests can buy at a very reasonable price on the propery. Guests can also use the kitchen facilities to prepare their own light meals. This added to a fabulous Tuscan experience! We can't wait to return next year. ... An absolutely fabulous Tuscan hideaway, like staying with friends but with your own privacy! (but I don't want the whole world to know how good it is ...)

Property and the owners were exceptionally good. Simonetta was always very helpful. We got married from Le Cetinelle and spent our honeymoon there. The scenery was stunning, the ambience was tranquil and relaxing. Extra nice touches by the owners, on returning from our wedding, fresh flowers were in our room and the bedlinen had been changed to a lacy frilly set. ... Simonetta took the time to see us leave, even though she was busy with breakfast. ... Road is virtually unmade after 1 1/2 kms from Greve. (It is going up into natural park area so to be expected). We did see for ourselves wild boar, numerous birds and other wild life. ... Very peaceful, breathtaking views from every direction you looked. Plenty of vineyards with various wines to try. The weather was warm and sunny, excepting one shower. You could not ask for anything else, the owners were obliging and helpful. Breakfast provided was good and nicely presented. The whole place felt as if someone cared for it. Excellent.

We were greeted as we drove in the parking lot. The property was beautifully maintained. ... The property and house was better than expected from the pictures. Simonetta was extremely helpful and made calls for us to reserve dinner plans and museums in Florence. ... A wonderful Tuscan experience. ... It was a wonderful introduction to Tuscany. You could see the lights of Florence at night sitting by the pool. There were many comfortable sitting areas and loungers available to relax in and the hospitality was tremendous. We felt like we were at home!!
