 Le Cetinelle enjoys the privilege of a unique position, because it is part of an uncontaminated nature, far from the noise of traffic and at the same time near the centre of Greve and its comforts. The estate is also a strategic departure place for amazing hikes and walks. One of the most beautiful hike from Le Cetinelle is the one of the natural park of "San Michele" situated on the highest mountain of the Chianti area (about 900 mt ). If our guets prefer they can reach "San Michele" by car and from there they can take one of the several others tracks ( safe and marked out ) to reach an unimaginable variety of beautiful places. |
 If Hikes and walks are not your favourite pastime but you prefere reading, rest and relaxation, you will find a huge garden surrounded by woods, with deck-chairs, tables and a wooden gazebo. Our beautiful swimming pool with is nice view is also at your disposal. A big private parking in front of the house is also available.
The dining room, comfortable and intimate is situated at the first floor between the bedrooms and the reception and it has a big old fire-place which warms up the coldest seasons. Its here where every morning from 8:00 to 11:00 a huge breakfast with home made cakes and marmelade, bred juice, coffee, milk, tea and many other good things is served. |

The nearest village from Le Cetinelle (10 minutes by car) is Greve in Chianti. Greve is a small village but it offers many services like: restaurants, bar, theatre, cinema, typical stores, grocery stores, supermarket, wine-shops, outdoor and indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis court, banks, post office, tourist information, police-station, bus service, car and moped renting, private taxi, chemist's, Saturday morning market, petrol stations (also 24 hours ). Usually, grocery stores, supermarket, banks and post-office are closed on Sunday, anyway Simonetta (the farmhouse owner ) will be glad to answer to your questions on this subject.
Another nice village to see is Panzano in Chianti. Panzano ( 20 minutes by car from Greve following Siena directions ) is smaller than Greve but it is worth a visit. Besides, in Panzano you will have the possibility to buy fresh bread and other foods even on Sunday at the Sunday morning market. |
