 Our agricultural business, surrounded by greenery, comprising of 20 hectares of land, mainly with chestnut treesand olive groves, is situated in the mountainous village of Tiglio and is far away from industrial areas and noises. The land was inherited by our grandparents and after having been left abandoned for decades, my sister and i have decided to rediscover the beauty of nature, of the greenery and tranquillity. |
 We produce honey, completely natural, chestnut, acacia, and millefiori....., olive oil, chestnut flour, and timber for firewood and for carpentry. The farmhouse "I Cerretelli" is situated in the centre of the historical town of Tiglio, Barga, 520 metres above sea level, and it owes it's name to the very old Turkey oak trees that are situated on the house's land. |
 The property dates back to 1658 (east wing) and 1771 (south wing), as can still be read on the stones over the main entrances. The property is enclosed in it's surrounding walls, being a village in itself. You will also find the swimming pool with sun terraces, the sun grotto, the children's play park, a private park, olive grove, and other buildings belonging to us which you can go to see only accompanied by one of us. |
 At "I Cerretelli" there is respect for tradition, which can be seen and understood by the types of materials and techniques that have been used. In the restoration work, it blends well with the privacy that the guests have and the comforts offered, as well as the conservation of historic memories, like the old log fired brad oven, the old wash tub....Our guests will find available, brochures, maps, directions of mountain pathways, bicycles, and train timetables etc. for their use. |
