We were supposed to arrive at 22.30 on Tues. but did not arrive until 01.30 on Wednesday morning. Nevertheless we were met and admitted to our apartment, to our great relief!!

Basic but comfortable double room in the heart of San Gimignano. Perfect location to explore Tuscany.

The accommodation was delightful and was under rated in the advert as it is right in the heart of the villiage. The owner was very helpful making bookings for us,translating and could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable.The one thing that could be impoved upon was the cutley in the appartment as we did do cooking in the appartment.
We had a wonderful stay.

The woman at 'Armando and Marcella Pasticceria' (Cake shop and Café where you check-in) didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much Italian. But we muddled through. They were nice to us.

We loved Cennini Apartments! This place is in a perfect location and is very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.

The price of parking might be something to add. We parked in a lot outside of the main walls of San Gimignano and we paid approximately 15 Euros a night to park.
Our room had an extra twin bed in there, and a trundle bed. It would be a perfect place to stay for someone with kids also.

Cennini Apartments is located in the most ideal spot in San Gimignano. It is right next to all of the activity of the town, but in the evening it is still quiet enough to sleep. You can't find a better location!

San Gimignano has restricted traffic and so it was not possible to drive all the way. Howerver, the pastry shop where we were to collect the key was easy to find on the main street.

The owners of Cennini were working in a cafe down the street from the appartments. this cafe is an easier landmark to find than the appartments. Is shoudl be mentioned on the confirmation sheet as a point of reference. A map of San Giminano streets would have been usefull. There are many interlocking lanes which are not listed on a map we got from the internet. As public parking within the town is restricted, entry to the town is by foot. However there is ample parking around the walls of the town. New visitors should be made aware of this.

There is no elavator to the 3rd floor. While not a problem to us, but could be an issue for others.

Perfectly placed in the middle of San Gimignano. We were on the 3rd floor with a window opening down over the valley below. The view every morning was breathtaking. We did find that the windows were quite small, which restricted light into our living area. San Gimignano was the perfect base for traveling around Tuscany, Chianti.

There was a bit of confusion at the pastry shop finding the owner, and the room wasn't ready as the cleaning lady arrived late to the apartment.

We requested a junior room and got an apartment suite! Beautiful room and beautiful views. Exposed beam ceilings are lovely, but hide spiders! Overall a gorgeous room.

Check out was ok - The owner was not present and we had to pay the lady who worked at the pastry shop. This was a bit confusing (as we wern't sure the transaction had gone through smoothly) but ended up being ok.

There are many stairs to reach the rooms. THis may be important if you are elderly/have small children.

Little confusing as the shop was closed where we had to pick up our keyes. There should be an alternate mean to pick-up keys if there is, as in our case, a delay in your journey.

The map and indications to get to the place could be included in the e-mail confirmation instead of attaching it to a link. I did not see the link and for that reason had trouble finding the person in charge of the apartments.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was everything we were looking for: cozzy, lovely, clean, confortable, with an exceptional view and most of all romantic.

The apartment key was to be collected from a patisserie in the main area of San Gimignano on Wednesday morning. This was fine - the instructions on how to reach the shop were clear and easy to read - but the shop is closed on Wednesdays!! We eventually found the proprietor's parents around the back of the shop. This was a bit confusing and stating this on the website would certainly have helped.

There were three apartments in total and ours was at the very top of the house throught three locked doors and very narrow and dark stairs. I wondered about fire safety

Overall a lovely experience but which could have been improved if there had been air conditioning and if cleaning and rubbish removal could have taken place.
