In the village there is a small restaurant where it is possible to taste the typical tuscan food. We offer a guided tour of the village and of our winery, where the Marchesi Ginori Lisci produces high quality red wines.

Just below the village, at 5 minutes walking, is in preparation for exclusive use of all our guests for the summer season 2008 a
swimming pool of 6mx18m surrounded by olive trees with a nice view of the surrounding woods.

For those wishing to visit the less famous but equally charming and interesting locations near our "borgo" we suggest you to explore the following spots:

Montecatini Val di Cecina
In this medieval little town you can admire the high tower (XII century), the Palazzo Pretorio, the Belforti Tower and the Romanesque-gothic church of S. Biagio.

Montegemoli
A "borgo" with an oval shape with the romanic church S. Bartolomeo and La Torre. You can also find a bakery with the special Montegemoli bread and the "HEART" Studio laboratorio Ceramica (ceramics) of Oreste Clamer in Via Castello 54.

Casale Marittimo
The old town dates back to the Middle Ages. Still visible are the remains of the walls of the castle, in its day a formidable protector of the coast and the valley. Church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, Church of San Sebastiano, Church of the Madonna.

Guardistallo
Guardistallo is a real gem, set in typical hilly Tuscan countryside, with historical remains, architecturally interesting buildings and spectacular view. Church of Santi Lorenzo e Agata, Marchionneschi Theatre, Convent of Our Lady of Valserena, Town Hall, Piazza R. Siviero.

Montescudaio
Montescudaio is a farming village. The civic tower and the church of Santa Maria Assunta are further steps in the journey into the past, in search of the daily life of the community which has inhabitated Montescudaio over the centuries.

Bibbona
Near the coast you can stop at Bibbona, where you can visit the Pieve di S.Ilario, XIV century, the church of S .Maria della Pietą with the oldest "sharp bend" warning on it's door-post, the Arco della Fonte di Bacco.

Bolgheri
In Bolgheri you can admire the Castle of the Counts della Gherardesca and visit the home of Giosuč Carducci, one of Italy's famous XIX century poets and find various trekking itineraries. You can also find some very nice small restaurants and wine's shops where you can buy important wines as "The Supertuscans".

Volterra
Volterra is one of the most famous ancient etruscan town. You can admire many interesting buildings and churchs as the Piazza dei Priori that is just as it was in the XII-XIII centuries with Tuscan's oldest Palazzo dei Priori (1250); in Piazza S.Giovanni, the Duomo (XII century) with the Romanesque wooden sculpture of the "Deposizione" (XIII century) and the Battistero decorated by white and green fascias, the typically medieval "Casa-torre" Buonparenti and "Casa-torre" Toscano (XIII century). You can't miss a visit to the Museo Guarnacci with its rich and interesting collection of etruscan art nor the newly restored Pinacoteca. Leaving the centre you can visit the Teatro Romano (I century b.C.) and admire the dramatic view from the "Balze".

Larderello
For an unusual brief trip you can go to a mining district town with its famous fumaroles and a very interesting geothermal museum. For longer trips you can't miss towns like Massa Marittima, San Gimignano and cities like Siena, Pisa, Lucca and Florence.
