DETAILS FROM A DRIVEN DAY The hunt takes place in our hunting ground "Valle di Buriano", 45 min. away from Vicarello. The hunting estate 'Valle di Buriano', 780 acres of hilly land behind Castiglione della Pescaia, renovates the Maremma cultural and traditional phenomenon of wild-boar hunting by organizing high level driven days.
With total respect for the environment, the hunting rituals are held in the thick under woods of the estate with the so-called 'cacciarelle', i.e. exclusive wild-boar driven hunt.
With the help of local pack of hounds, the hunts are conducted from 20-25 watches called "palchetti" (high seats). We organize for the hunters the traditional 'rialto', their accompaniment to the peg, the various phases of the hunting and their return to the 'hunting lodge' for lunch, for the preparation of the game and of the trophies. Hunts for small groups or individual are organized as well. |
