Maddalena, met us when we arrived, and took time to show us the facilities, and was always available to give us information on the area and restaurants.

I thought that 'end of stay' cleaning price could have been a bit lower, especially for shorter stays.
Swimming pool wasn't available. Although our Rep (Maddalena) did inform me that it wouldn't be in use during the stay, before I confirmed my booking.
Street parking only (this is mentioned on the web site)- but we would have preferred it if there was a place to park in the castle grounds.
Some pictures on the web site were of areas of the castle that are presently privately owned and so off-limits for guests just now.

The apartment was lovely, everything was new and clean and beautifully rennovated, with a fantastic view of the countryside and sea. The garden and our private terrace was fantastic. It was very quiet and relaxing. The village of Campilgia is beautiful. I liked having the village within 5 mins walking distance, as you got the best of both worlds i.e a small village on one side and then a fantastic view of the countryside and sea, on the other side.

Beautiful apartment, modern and very clean. Large private terrace with lovely view of the countryside and sea (and isola d'elba), and within a charming medieval town. Our representative (Maddalena) was fantasic and extremely helpful.
