 Located in the south of Livorno province, Castle of Campiglia is easily reached from Pisa Airport, just 60 minutes away. It is also within easy driving distance of the fascinating towns of San Gimignano and Volterra, and the great Tuscan cities of Siena, Pisa and Lucca. The castle is a five minute walk from the historic centre of Campiglia Marittima, in a discrete and quite location, surrounded by parkland and shaded by age-old pine groves. |
 Originally settled by the Etruscans, the area has a very ancient history. There has been a fortress here since the 8th century, and the existing castle, built in stages, is structured on five levels facing the coast. As a result, each apartment enjoys an uninterrupted, 180º view of the gulf, which extends from the exclusive Punta Ala in the south, to Piombino in the North. |
