La Castellina farm is situated in the Chianti Classico district which is located in the heart of Tuscany between Florence and Siena and includes all the territories of the communes of Castellina, Gaiole, Greve and Radda in Chianti. |
Nowadays the farm is about 140 hectares wide and produces mainly wine and olive oil. Its lands sourround the south-west side of Castellina in Chianti Village, over the valley turned towards San Gimignano. |
Its wineyards extend on an area of 30 hectares, on a hilly position and a south-west exposition, on native lands rich of skeleton, with medium height of about 400 metres.
Today La Castellina is a family business run by Dr Tommaso Bojola, with the labour of 6 skilled workers, helped by the oenological advice of Dr.Ugo Pagliai. |
