 3 November 2003 has been inaugurated "Osteria al Ponte" (5km far) of the company Rocca di Castagnoli, to Gaiole in Chianti. An intimate and collected atmosphere where it is possible to taste optimal accompanied from Tuscany specialties from wines that of it exalt the scents and the sapori. The paper wines de "the Tavern to the Bridge", to flank of the labels of Rocca di Castagnoli, offers also the bottles of other prestigious wine cellars. | Rocca di Castagnoli is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico zone, an area of unparalleled natural beauty and rich cultural significance. History and traditions have always been a part of these hills which were once inhabited and cultivated by the Etruscans. Set amidst woods, vineyards, olive groves from here you can do daily excursion into the countryside visting Radda in Chianti, Castelnuovo Berardenga, San Gusmè or take a trip to the cultural cities of Siena (28 km) and Florence (60 km) that are both within driving distance. In the nearby town of Gaiole in Chianti you can find all that you need for food supplies etc. |
