There is an airport train that goes to Pisa central station, from there you can get a train direct to Lucca.
The owner mentioned that there is a direct bus from the airport that stops near the apartment (2 min walk).

The owners were very friendly and provided us with a cot free of charge.

Good value for money. The apartment is outside the city walls and as a result much cheaper. The walk is a leisurely 10-15 minutes to the walled city, about 3/4 km.
We often walked back from town late at night, the walk is pleasant and we felt very safe.

Casa Zia Beppina is very good located and in walking distance of the old center of Lucca!
In the area were the apartment is located a great supermarket and other stores for food or non-food are available.

Please warn people about gettting to and from Pisa airport--it should be simple but we got lost twice! The motorway is not sign posted very well.

We are already telling people how good it was; Paulo and evryone else there were extremely helpful, the location was great and the apartment was very clean and spacious.
