I was missing a description in writting how to find Casa Sola, the map that I found on Casa Sola webside wasn't very clear. I'll think it will help the comming guests if you wrote something like: 'On the superstrada between Firenze and Siena get off at San Danato, take the road to the left off the city for about ?? km and .......'

Through friends that have been at Casa Sola before we were told that there was a bottle off Chanti Classico waiting for us when we arrived, which there weren't!, - that would have been nice after a long jurney.

The cleaning staff was a bit eager to get on with there job on the day that we checked out, they were waiting just outside the appartment and were practicaly going in the door as we got out, in my apinion they should have waited to go in to after we have left the area.
Just a reminder to the staff for next time!

Very large and lovly appartments, which we didn't use since the weather was too good to sit inside.
Nice suroundings.

We had not rented a car and arrived via taxi from Florence. We asked about a local place to eat and the receptionist called and made us reservations at an excellent restaurant and arranged for a taxi to pick us up and drop us back off to our room. They were very friendly and the wine tasting was fun. We loved the tuscan countryside and would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

Some of the staff spoke no English, which was tricky. Sitting room furniture was uncomfortable.

The swimming pool is about 1km from the accommodation. (Good news if you have very little children as we had, but maybe not to everyone's liking)

The person who checked us in did not know about the included breakfast. In fact, she said there was not one. It was not until the day we checked out that another hostess informed us we were signed up for breakfast and should have requested that it be delivered to our room daily.

The property was lovely and better than we expected. The rooms were clean and well-cared for. The pool was not open as we expected. Bike rentals, cooking classes, etc. were not as readily available as would be expected from the website.
On the last day, the cleaning lady was incredibly rude. It was not clear to us that we had to leave the building by 10 am. Shortly after 10am, she was screaming at us in a language we did not understand and stormed into our apartment. We left shortly after and it seemed that she was making negative comments to us though we could not fully understand.

The pool is not open until June 1. Maria, the hostess, is very helpful in organizing cooking classes. But, it is important to know that cooking classes and bike rentals are not on-site. You must travel for these.

The property and the farmhouses we stayed in were charming and beautiful. It was an ideal setting to unwind and take in Tuscany's charm. The owners were not particularly friendly and did not seem very interested in guests. The hostess Maria was welcoming and helpful.
