we extremely enjoyed the personal touch of the place which cannot be expressed on the site ... at casa sesta it was one of our best holidays, we definitely want to go back in the future ... if she/he wants to spend a few days in total silence and peace, casa sesta is one of the best places

Actually there was no one available at our arrival but the key for our apartment was in the door and since we knew which apartment we were staying in I no problems when we arrived. As we were leaving for dinner Evana (the owners mother) arrived and helped us tremendously with all the questions we had. The only issue we had was finding Casa Sesta. We had a GPS with us but it didn't help much. We had to stop and ask for directions. It would be helpful to have much better driving instructions and signs on the access road much more visable. BUT DON'T LET THIS STOP YOU FROM STAYING AT CASA SESTA. It is well worth the effort to find it. ... I cannot recommend Casa Sesta enough for making your stay in Tuscany a memorable one. Julia, Evana & John Carlos were all so helpful and nice. Casa Sesta is beautiful and clean. The view from their location is a beautiful way to welcome the morning. ... Not one issue! Again, Julia was wonderful ... An absolute must for a stay in Tuscany if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the major tourist cities and sites. It is remote but that is their charm. There is fantastic oseteria/restuarant near Casa Sesta (at the bottom of the access road turn left and go approx. 1/2 kilometer and it will be on your right) that is FANTASTIC. Ask for the server John Carlos and his local wine suggestions will be supurb.
Only negative is the directions to Casa Sesta but again well worth finding it. ... Absolutely!! In fact a friend turns 40 next year and our group of friends plan on staying at Casa Sesta.
