The forty hectares of forest belonging to the Casa Sesta are part of a game reserve populated with wild hares, pheasants, squirrels and deer. Guests can observe all of these animals in their natural habitat while on hiking excursions. Guests are also encouraged to relax at the pool, from which one can enjoy a magnificent panorama and spectacular sunsets looking out past the Pieve di Gropina. |
During your stay you are invited to taste our products and take part in the more important moments of farm life: from the pruning of the olive trees in March, to the harvesting of fruit in summer, to the grape harvest and vinification process taking place in September and October, to the late autumn gathering and pressing of the olives for the production of olive oil. |
Thanks to its central position, a vacation at Agriturismo Casa Sesta facilitates visiting the Tuscan art cities of world renown such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo, along with the possibility of discovering the more hidden and remote spots (but no less amazing) of this land, rich with history and natural beauty. During your stay, the Pratesi family can advise you on natural itineraries for either hiking or mountain biking, or historical and gastronomic itineraries, which take you through breathtaking towns and countryside. |
