The "Agriturismo Casa Picchiata" is situated on the top of a hill bearing the same name, from which it enjoys a splendid view of the Orcia Valley and the surrounding hamlets, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Rocca d'Orcia, San Quirico and Radicofani. |
The medieval building (which once belonged to the Piccolomini family) has recently been restored, taking great care to maintain its original character. Care has also been taken to ensure that all the appartments are equipped wit every comfort. |
Well-worn paths, spas and medieval hamlets entice you with offers of interesting excursions and tranquil stays in a unique and beautiful environment. We like to considere ourselves an old style farmhouse, with so many animals willing to meet our guests. |
 Our philosophy here there are no strangers. Yes, because we love welcoming our guests as friends with which we exchage our lives and experiences. We are a big family. This means that our guests can have dinner and breakfast with us, tasting the Tuscan cooking (home made pasta, meats, home made cakes, wine, oil, home made cheese and so on). |
