Facilities within the Property

 
All our apartmens are furnished in the Tuscan Style (800's), wrough iron beds, and are equipped with central heating, air conditioning, fireplace, hydromassage. We take enormous care of the cleaning. The garden is equipped with a gazebo where our guests can have lunch or simply read enjoying some quiet.
 
There are also available for our guests washing machines, irons and a barbeque, mountain bikes, everything for free. Moreover are at disposal our natural products such as eggs, vegetables and so on. Whilst staying at Casa Picchiata, guest are welcome to share their meals with us, we cook with our fresh, home-grown produce. The property is surrounded by paths where our guests can enjoy a walk. The property is open all the year. Also available internet point and fax service.

From June 2005 also there are only for our guest: SPA with covered swimming pool (jacuzzi, Massage, relax area....).

Casa Picchiata is an idyllically situated farmhouse, which forms part of a nature reserve in the " Val d'Orcia ". One of it's immediate attractions is "Spedaletto"; a medieval castle, that is only 1.5 Km away. This castle is attributed to "Saint Maria della Scala di Siena", and it has a rich history which chronicles over 800 years of use. This castle is the best preserved piece of medieval history that stbds along side Via Francigena, an old route that spans the heart of Tuscany.
