By Car from Milano-Venezia-Bologna highway A1: From Bologna direction Firenze. Exit Barberino del Mugello, then follow sign to Borgo San Lorenzo. From Borgo San Lorenzo follow sign to Firenze, Via Faentina, S.S.302. After the village of Polcanto and Mulinaccio: turn left at the sign for Feriolo restaurant. Casa Palmira is on your left after the little wooden bridge.
By Car from Genova-Pisa-Lucca-Livorno-Siena highway A11: Exit at Firenze then follow sign Firenze Centro then Fiesole (up the hills north of Florence). You arrive in the main square of Fiesole and you go trough the village. From Fiesole follow sign to Olmo, Via dei Bosconi S.P.54. After about 8 km. you arrive at a crossroad, on route s.s.302, Via Faentina, follow sign for Borgo San Lorenzo for 1 km, turn right at the sign Feriolo restaurant. Casa Palmira is on your left after the little wooden bridge.
By Car from Rome highway A1: from Roma direction Firenze. Exit at Firenze Sud, then follow sign for Fiesole (up the hills north of Florence). By Bus from Florence Bus Station SITA: Via S.Caterina da Siena near the Central Train Station Santa Maria Novella of Florence. Very Important: Ticket for Firenze - Polcanto. Bus: SITA for Borgo San Lorenzo Via Polcanto, Stop on request: Feriolo (3 km after Olmo).You arrive in about 35 minutes.
Arriving without a car: we can help with transfer to and from Florence train station or airport (we must be notified well beforehand). Otherwise there is a regular Bus service between Florence and Casa Palmira. |
