We made it to the closest town and then called for directions. Lisa said, I'll come meet you in 10 minutes! We were glad she did as we may have gotten lost otherwise (because we didn't have the directions from the web). We appreciated the extra touch, she is really sweet and loves what she does.

This was the cleanest lodging I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. The apartment was well appointed and nicely decorated, sheets and towels clean and of good quality and the kitchen had everything we needed. We commented that everything seemed new - I don't know if this is the case, but either way, it seemed that way! We could not have been more pleased with the room.

The Pizza Night that Lisa hosts is very nice. It was our honeymoon so she made us a heart shaped pizza and gave us a bottle of bubbly to share with the group. This was a highlight of our stay!

Absolutely lovely views - like something off a postcard. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to take advantage of the pool, but it was beautiful and again, very clean. The apartment was great, we hope to go back some day and stay longer! I would highly recommend this lodging to anyone who wants a quiet place to chill out.

Lisa was great. She gave us some sweet wine and cake when we arrived and sat down with us to explain maps of the area. She also went through the entire apartment to show us everything.

Gorgeous place, the apartment was great. The only thing that could have been a bit better was the bed which was uncomfortable but otherwise everything was perfect.

Lisa was welcoming and so nice to us - gave us a delicious piece of homemade pie and Vino Sante from their vineyard. She showed us everything about the apartment and the grounds and was very enthusiastic about our staying with them.

The apartment was amazingly clean and wonderful to stay in. It is very high up the mountain so be prepared to have to drive on the narrow, Tuscan hill roads at night. The scenery was beautiful all around us. It's located very close to Empoli, where there is a train that goes to Siena and Florence, among other places...Empoli was our savior while we stayed there.

Lisa took care of everything - they took my credit card, while a lot of places don't.

It's a beautiful retreat from civilization.

Playground on the property, small swingset was very nice for children.
Goats and chickens on the property in a side area also nice for children to feed bread, and pet.

Stunning location, very friendly and welcoming hosts. The quality of the accomodation was the best we had throughout our stay in Italy. The wine and cantucci biscuits were fantastic! Highly recommend!

Lovely appartment that we will definitely recommend. Only the sofa was very bad to sit on and the water in the kitchen did not get through properly. Furthermore excellent adress with very good chairs around the swimming pool.

Very positive was the nice welcome and the hospitality of the family. On Saturday and Wednesday they cooked a special meal; on Wednesday pizza from the oven outside which was very good, cheap and nice to meet the other guests.
Also their own wine was put as a welcome on the table and coffee and cake presented on arrival which make you feel very welcome.

As a quiet, lovely place to stay, not far from Florence and other interesting places in Toscane. A friendly family to welcome you and a wonderful view. A holiday adress that you definitely should have to visit.
But you certainly need a car!

Staff were not there for check out and we had to leave. In so doing, I forgot to leave the keys but did mail them back. This may have created a problem with 'paying for the heat usage'.

Quiet, out in the country and convenient to may of the places you'd want to visit in the northern tuscan region. Staff were very helpful and had several good recommendations on where to dine.

We arrived earlier than posted arrival times, so we lazed about. Shortly after (and before posted arrival times) we were warmly recieved and even given a light snack. Everything else was done wonderfully, with politeness and much detail.

Very nice and peaceful location, beautiful rooms and nice grounds. Great pool, especially given the 33 C temperature.
