Coming from the south (Rome), along SS.1, the Aurelia: Exit at the sign for Scansano-Magliano in Toscana (after the Orbetello-Monteargentario exit).Continue for 39 km to Scansano. Just after entering the town, turn left in the direction of Grosseto. Continue for about 5 km, then turn right at the fork marked Polveraia-Montepo'. After another 3 km, turn right again onto the gravel road for Montepò. The entrance to Casa Nova is 700 meters on the right.
Coming from the north (Livorno or Siena), on SS. 1, the Aurelia, heading towards Rome: Exit at Grosseto Est (east) and follow the signs for Scansano-Saturnia. Continue for about 23 km and immediately after the hamlet of Pancole, turn left in the direction of Polveraia-Montepò. After another 3 km, turn right onto the gravel road for Montepò. The entrance to Casa Nova is 700 meters on the right. |
