As it is as family-run concern, the visitor immediately feels at home. The restaurant kitchen combines traditional regional dishes with innovative recipes, accompanied by an extensive wine list. All together the Hotel offers its guests the pleasure of staying in an attractive, completely relaxing atmosphere.
A charming town "Strove"
A charming town nestling in the Elsa countryside. Of Longobard origin, it was probably very important due to its size and strategic position on the border between Siena and Florence territory. In 1300 the castle was razed to the ground and those fort houses which still characterise it today were built on the ruins. |
Chiantiturismo - "Le soste nel Chianti Valdelsa"
The name Chiantiturismo is intended to express the quality of stays and of the welcome in an area with a whole wealth of traditions, culture, history and art. |
Attempting to interpret the expectations of the people who come to visit the Chianti-Valdelsa area and the reasons that bring them to stay here, with Chiantiturismo we suggest some Hotels obtained from the renovation of buildings of different ages which represent a truly historical itinerary and share the utmost respect for their origins and for the environment that surrounds them. |
These different types of buildings offer the Visitor the possibility to satisfy his/her own needs and at the same time enjoy the relaxation and quality of life that is characteristic of this little corner of the world between Siena and Florence, namely Colle Val d'Elsa and Monteriggioni.
In Colle Val d'Elsa: La Vecchia Cartiera and Relais Della Rovere. In Monteriggioni: Casalta and Castel Bigozzi. |
