 Also on the ground-floor is a 150mē reception room offering guests a common meeting place with satellite TV, reading books, fireplace, dining area for larger groups. The grounds are extensive, illuminated at night, and furnished with plenty of tables and chairs.

 A swimming pool measuring 7 x 15 mt. is at guests' disposal and is furnished with playthings for children. From the nucleus of the estate a long avenue of cypresses leads to private gated parking surrounded by fields and pastures.
The ha 60 land is cultivated for cereals production. On request, it's possible to visit the stock-farm of Frisone cows, 4 km. far away. Cooking facilities allow us to prepare food (breakfast, half or full board) for groups (on a 8-people basis minimum). Cookery courses and tasting of our products. Children are welcome for visits to the farm. |
 Prices at Razza del Casalone are inclusive of electricity, water, gas, air conditioning (if relevant), heating, bed and bath linens (changed at the end of each week), parking, use of the swimming pool and grounds, plus a discount card valid at local shops, restaurants, bathing establish-ments, etc. Upon request, it is also possible to engage the services of a housekeeper or to have more frequent linen changes.
In addition, for a fee guests may use a common laundry room; the machines use a computer chip provided to guests upon their arrival, the usage is calculated at the end of one's stay. |
 Excursion: Razza del Casalone makes a perfect jumping-off point for excursions thr oughout the region, both to sites of natural beauty and to sites of historical interest, particularly Etruscan and medieval. Information on these local attractions is available at the estate, and excursions by taxi or minibus can be arranged as well.
Dinner service for groups (at least 12 people) in the main hall of the Casale: 150 m2 of ancient Tuscany "cotto". Tennis and soccer courts very close to the farmhouse. For small groups we organize guided tours in the local farms. |

| Facilities Outside the Estate |
The farm is situated along the Strada delle Collecchie, a road leading to Marina di Grosseto (10 km. to the seaside). Progressively the city's outskirt grew closer to the eighteenth century house; the proximity to the town offers a good opportunity to admire the ancient "Mura Medicee" (Walls built by Medici Family, 1 km far away) and the typical allies of the historical centre.
Ideal start point for tours and sightseeing: 12 km. to Uccellina Natural Park, 4 km. to the ancient Etruscan ruins of Roselle; 70 km. to Siena; 55 km. to Saturnia's thermal baths. It is about 2 Km from the historic centre of Grosseto and 10 Km from the sea. The edge of the city has crept a bit closer to this 18th century farmhouse estate, and there is as a result an extremely convenient little shopping centre less than a kilometre away, as well as a tennis court where you can play and take lessons. In addition, there is nearby racetrack which has taken for itself the name of our estate, Razza del Casalone, which itself once raised horses. |
