We had a most enjoyable time at Il Casale which met all our requirements. For visiting the local area or just relaxing at the accomoodation it was a perfect venue for our holiday. Comments form the rest of the group: 'Gorgeous', 'Fabulous', definitley to be recommended if putting your own package together.We flew into Pisa and out from Bergamo with the need for a large car so it required quite a lot of coordination the accomodation part went extremely smoothly with the help of yourselves and the excellent family who caretake the premises.

There seemed to be a discrepancy as we had not been debited, at the time of travel,for the deposite so we paid the whole in full at Il Casale. We trust the deposite will not at some future date be claimed.

Friendly local feel to the place and fabulous views of an area of natural beauty. Excellent comuunication links to local areas of leisure and cultural interest.

In the heart of the coutryside but accessible to fabulous liesure and cultural destinations. For a holiday with multiple options and a challenge for creative tourism you could not have a better base. If one day you do too much the next day can be spent in the spectacular setting of Il Casale al Lavaggio to recahrge the batteries for future adventures in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world.

Perhaps to state that a car is useful, as it is a long walk (4 kilometre) to the nearest small town for a RESTAURANT)
