Absolutely fantastic! Everyone's keys were laid out in named envelopes with instructions about the lights etc so there was no waiting about in reception - people were able to get to their rooms quickly and efficiently. Marvellous.

One thing that was commented on by our group - the hotel could not be faulted in anything except one point. There was no bar/lounge where people could sit and order a drink. Trying to get drinks from the restaurant was a real chore. We ended up having to go into the town square to get served. I think a lounge/bar area is essential and would have generated a lot of business for the hotel from our group. Also, the mini-bars in the room could be better stocked with drinks.

The Hotel regularly organises events - such as a tour of the property and wine tasting of the Fattoria - we attended one of these and it was VERY good. We saw the original apartments from 14th century and the artwork was fascinating. The tasting was also excellent. Other services should be stressed more e.g. gym/covered pool/sauna plus Masseur - these things are very important to guests from UK and USA.

A wonderful, serene, unspoilt hotel. Very cool and calm, with excellent services. Idyllic setting with private gardens and grounds, but within 2 mins walk to town centre. Rooms very comfortable, spacious and well furnished. Very good restaurant, serving interesting and delicious meals. Ideal for couples or families with grown up children. As it has no bar or lounge area yet, there is nowhere to relax with a drink at night - but that's a minor point as there are several bars within a few steps outside the grounds. Highly recommended.

This is a hotel just getting running, some of the kinks need to be worked out but the staff was friendly and the accomodations were spacious and clean.

The restaurant was fantastic for dinner and the breakfasts were very quaint with friendly staff

While the pictures were not as on the website, the accomodations were fine, no frills but clean, spacious and comfortable.
The indoor pool was closed and this was not clear in our reservations.

The internet booking included daily linens and all services etc included. On the first night of arrival I received a letter stating that the final cleaning was all that was included not daily cleaning. It was clear in the letter from this site and did cause them some issues, I agreed to only fresh towels and that was all they did.

Spacious and clean, interesting location intown with a countyside feeling. A good base for traveling to other interesting Tuscany places. Very safe, private and comfortable, if traveling with children.

We stayed at this property 5 years ago and were happy to see the same helpfull staff were still there.

The first apartment we were given had a oder problem which is normal for the time of the year we were there (SEPT/OCT). We were given another apartment with NO problems.

As we had to be in Florence early the next morning, we checked out the night before with NO problems. The staff at this property was always very helpfull and friendly.

Words can not describe what we think about this property. It is within driving distance to all the Hill Towns, Close to the train station, EXCELLENT Restaurant, Wine Country 15 minutes away. For a quaint place to stay that is located to all the sights one would want to visit in a week or longer, this property is the BEST. As stated earlier we stayed here 5 years ago and will return on our next trip to Italy.

Possibly listing the opportunity to take a tour of the Villa Casagrande and learn the history about the place. (We happened to find out about one at the last minute and it was a great tour).
My suggestion for the villa may be to have a brochure that informs guests of activities that are available at the villa each day.

It was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the quaintness of it. The staff was helpful and for the most part very friendly. It was also centrally locatad in Tuscany and easily accessible by car and made day trips to other places a breeze.

The only thing I would add about the directions is that because there is not a sign for the hotel on the street we drove past it about 4 times before we eventually found it. Of course once you know where it is you wonder how you ever missed it.

The villa was peaceful, restful and serene. The breakfest was plentiful. The food was freshly made and presented beautifully. The centeralized location of the villa made the areas we traveled to easily accessable.
