They could use a cover for the pool to keep the water a little warmer at that time of year-or use a heater. ... A nice young man gave us some great advice on places to visit on the cost as we were leaving, and ideed, they turned out to be great. ... A very lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with a great and helpful staff. The food was excellent as well. A very friendly comfortable bar as well.

Hotel CasaFrassi had great signs on the road to help us find it. (Something we were concerned about before our trip.) ... We really enjoyed our stay. Their restaurant was wonderful and saved us from looking elsewhere each evening. The one night they were closed, the chef recommended another restaurant a mere 2 km away that was also outstanding. ... The Hotel Casafrassi is very close to Siena and other wonderful hill towns.

Absolutely breathtaking accommodation and location. ... Will stay again without hesitation, hopefully in the not so distant future! This is a wonderful location with a fantastic restaurant on the property... very very good food! ... Easy & accomodating ... Perhaps add more details on the restaurant as it is absolutely outstanding, run by a wonderful family who have much knowledge on the Chianti region and its local produce etc... ... Heaven ;-)

The accommodation in the converted olive-press building was very charming. It had delightful views and the room was furnished with beautiful antique type furniture, complete with an amazing beamed ceiling. The en-suite facilites were particularily spacious and clean, with all modern features, but still in keeping with the tuscan theme. ... It is the most picturesque and romantic location. The main hotel building is a fine example of a tuscan villa, and the converted olive-press building is delightful. The long drive way up to the hotel is also stunning. It has beautiful grounds and a large swimming pool area and a lovely al-fresco restaurant serving delicious food and also fine wine from their own vinyard. This is the best possible location for a truly tranquil holiday.

As former guests of Casafrassi I would come back anytime. Everyone was very polite and accomodating as in previous visits. ... Very easy. ... The dining room definately needs a face lift. The food was reasonably prepared and tasty. I wolud like to see a more creative chef in the kitchen. Also, more capable and experienced dining room staff. Only one of two who served us was satisfactory. ... I would recommend without hesitation.

The hotel was great, although you the acoustics were a little loud so you could hear other people outside the room (such as in the bar, or hallway). ... The pictures on the website do not show the incredible views available from the hotel. I was pleasantly suprised by the location and views of Chianti from the hotel. The pictures on the web just dont do the hotel justice.

My only negative comment is that last time I stayed there I was in a room with a great renovated bathroom and this time I was in a room with an old (yet clean) bathroom. That was a bit of a disappointement. ... Some bathrooms have not been renovated. The hotel should charge less for these rooms than the new rooms or the ones that are renovated. Also, some rooms have amazing terrases with a spectacular view - great for a romantic glass of wine. ... Everything was great. Make sure you get a room with a renovated bathroom.

Clear presentation, easy to use; fact that requests were passed on to similar properties was helpful. ... not necessary ... not needed ... Initially I was charged more than stated on the voucher, but this was soon rectifed. ... The menu was rather limited, although the home-produced wines were very good. ... good selection ... Quiet and relaxing if a bit remote, and a car is essential. Good proximity to Siena and other sites.

Nice hotel with a beautiful view over the landscape, very nice pool area, good breakfast. Very close to Siena. But to send a fax from the hotel abroad (expl. to Germany) it's very expensive!! 2 Euro per page!!!

Arrival was difficult, parking was a distance from the entrance , with a chain preventing getting close to drop bags. The door was locked and had to be openened by a guest passing by inside. ... Not able to handle early checkouts.ie 7am Paid the night before, but nothing opens. They turn off the power including the elevator forcing us to carry bags down two floors and as mentioned before haul them to distant parking. ... The on site resturant is just average. Service is poor. Took two try's to get bill corrected for food ordered but not served. Finally had to have it corrected at checkout, involving a conference with the manager, and waiter. ... Great location, beautiful place, grounds etc. Somewhat pricey Eat in town.
