It is quite confusing coming from the direction of Scrofiano (the city of orientation) which, although it is very close, there is no chance to find your way from without asking someone. Perhaps a more detailed map with approaches from both major roads would do.

Exactly the Tuscany we were aiming for; authentic, friendly, private and secluded, within a 30-45 minute driving distance from all the famous hill-towns as well as centered in true Tuscan scenery (close to major roads but doesn't feel like it at all) - a most excellent value for money.

Once you get your bearings, very approachable and A GREAT LOCATION FOR EXPLORING TUSCANY BY CAR, yet at the same time feels like miles from nowhere plus it is especially gratifying when coming back from a hot day's tour you find a cool, clean, well-lit swimming pool...
