Note: We were not greeted by a receptionist. We were greeted by the owners of the villa. ... It was fantastic!!! :) ... Maybe something about the drive up and down the mountain. We had a very small vehicle, which was good for making the tight turns, but sometimes it was a little difficult to make the climb over the gravel road. Regardless, we had a blast making the drive every day! ... It looked EXACTLY like its pictures online. But words cannot describe the views and how large the surrounding property is. It was exactly what we were hoping for when we decided to rent a private villa in Tuscany. We loved the privacy. We also enjoyed seeing lightning bugs at night and passing by the chickens on the drive up and down the mountain. Everything about our experience at Casa di Pruneta was wonderful. The owner, Fabrizio, even took us to the home of a personal friend of his for a private wine tasting. It was our most memorable experience in Tuscany. We loved the warm welcome we received when we arrived, as well as all of the hospitality. It was an amazing week. If I had to describe Casa di Pruneta in one word... Breathtaking!

The villa was beautiful and very clean. The owners welcomed us with 'open arms' and were very accomodating. Our one complaint was the remotenss and uneasy access. From the website, I didn't realize the villa was up such a long, curvy hill. Since we had no plans to rent a car, we had to rely on taxis, since one member of our party found the climb difficult. This should have been posted on the website. Otherwise, we were very happy with the villa and the grounds and the excellent service. ... Other than difficult access, everything was as listed. ... Please list the inaccessability for those with walking difficulties. ... Beautiful, although remote. Since our Canadian cell phones did not work there, we felt insecure and cut off. In house phones for local calls would certainly help.

The owners (Messers Guspari) were very welcoming and informative. ... Very peaceful, comfortable and good value for money.
