I loved my stay at La Casa di Adelina B&B !! Lovely people and a wonderful house. ... A lovely comfortable house, full of art work and family history. Fransceco and his father were welcoming and helpful; I was very comfortable. The B&B is set within the walls of Monticchiello, one of the prettiest hill towns I visited.

You have to climb two flights of stairs to get to the owners apt to get your key... and the town streets are quite steep. As two 77 year old experienced travelers we feel that we should have been alerted to these facts. Also it is not always possible to find a parking space in the tiny square in front of the B & B and so we usually parked just outside the village gate. ... Recommend this B & B only to people who are hale and hearty.... the walk from the town gate to the B&B was very steep, as were the stairs to the apt. Also advise your clients that there is nothing to do in the village so it is useful only as a base for visiting the other wonderful towns in the area. But the La Porta is a super place to eat at the base of the village.
... Our friendsd are not in good enough shape to stay here.
