Directions were very easy to follow. We arrived quite early in the morning before we were supposed to book in, but we were made extremely welcome none the less.

Staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean, extremley comfortable, great ambience, wine divine, olive oil delicious. Couldnt find any negatives at all.

No hassles what so ever, infact we didnt want to leave.

Staff were always extremely cheerful and helpful, they gave us a tour of the vineyard/olive oil plant, wine/olive oil tasting, sample of homemade pastries etc.
One night a week they hold a dinner for guests with all local homemade foods - infact the week we were there was the end of summer party for all the workers and villagers, so we ate, drank and danced into the wee small hours of the night - just fantastic!! Brilliant place to stay!

We arrived at midnight because we got
very lost (bad road signs etc.) but still
found someone to show us our room. Clear
directions from Pisa airport would be an

Pisa (a lot easier) and made welcome to

A trip is organised on Wednesday mornings
to see where the olive oil is processed,
followed by a visit to the family's house
where visitors are offered tastings of
the local oil, wine and vin santo
together with home made cake etc. On
Thursday evening families are invited to
an ourdoor meal of local produce prepared
and served by the Metozzi family. I
think this may be a regular occurrence.

We thought there was a view to the lake from our appartment. However recently build extra facilities block that. Really a pitty.

It was nice to see that there was plenty of parking space for every family. With trees.

Also much appreciated: the map on the table with all kinds of information for the arrivals.

We had as fantastic holiday at the casa.
It was a relaxing place to stay.

2 remarks:
- An airco system would be something we would be willing to pay extra for.
- And the table on our terrace was nice but too big to sit on comfortably. That was a minus.

I am not sure if the washing machine was mentionned. But there is one there, which was very nice.
Very important: all windows had musquito-webbings. VERY nice!

Pleasant & good & comfortable. Nice garden. The swimming pool had nice shades from trees around it.

Not the kind with Italian antique furniture, but all neccessary things are there (except airco), they function well and look fine.

MY only complaints about the house are
(i) nobody at reception to welcome us upon arrival and nobody to show us around the appartment. We had to figure out everything by ourselves.
(ii) the house was very hot. I can understand that no airconditioning would be available but at least an electric fan should have been provided.

Yes. No electric fans. No aircondition. Very important for summer visitors.

A good place for touring Umbria and Tuscany. Excellent location. Reasonably priced.
