 Casachianti is located on the tuscan rolling hills (300 metres upon the sea level) and due to its strategical location (35 Km from Firenze and 40 Km from Siena) it is the ideal starting point to a cultural and artistic visit of Tuscany and its beauties. The nearest train station is in Certaldo (7Km far) and there are trains going to Firenze almost at every hour. Siena is 40 Km far and San Gimignano, the world famous medievel town, is 18 Km far. Pisa is about an hour's drive from CasaChianti and so is Lucca. The nearest beach is easily reachable in less than an hour. |
By car:
From highway A1: exit at Firenze Certosa and then turn right and take the "Palio" motorway to Siena. Exit at Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and follow the indications to the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (about 5 Km far from the exit).
In Tavarnelle, take the turning on the right towards Marcialla-Certaldo. At Marcialla turn right towards Fiano. At Fiano turn left towards Certaldo. After about 1 km you will see Casachianti on your right.
By train:
The nearest train station is Certaldo, 7 km far, and from there you can take a bus bringing you to Fiano, before arriving in Fiano there is a stop which is just 50 meters from Casachianti.
By air:
The nearest airport is in Florence. From there you can take the shuttle till Florence train station, then the train to Certaldo, and then the taxi or the bus. |
