 L'Osteria di CasaChianti, the restaurant on the ground floor of the farmhouse is personally run by the owner and her family. There is a large terrace with a magnificent view on the Tuscan rolling hills where you may have the opportunity to taste our homemade meals such as the "fiorentina steak" and the most typical Tuscan dishes in a friendly and very familiar atmosphere. The wines are mostly local as particular care is taken in preserving the traditional local products and recipes. |
 Breakfast is served upon request and for an extra fee. You can choose between homemade bread and cakes, butter, marmelade, ham, salame, coffee, milk and orange juice. There is also the possibility to take cooking lessons to be booked on arrival.There is the possibility to book private guided tours in Siena, San Gimignano and Firenze with a local licensed English and French speaking tourist guide. |

| Casachianti is located in the heart of Tuscany exactly halfway between Florence (35 Km far) and Siena (40 Km far) and at only one hour's drive from Pisa and the sea. The world famous medieval town of San Gimignano is only 18 Km far away and Certaldo, birthplace of the medieval writer Giovanni Boccaccio, is only 10 minutes' drive. The centre of Firenze is reachable by train in less than one hour, and the nearest train station is 7 km far, in Certaldo. The nearest shopping facilities are in Fiano, 1 km far from the property. |
