an excellent hill top retreat handy for Sienna or the hill towns . Staff friendly and approachable. GPS very handy for finding location

It should be noted how far it is to drive to CasaBianca. Although the drive is beautiful, my husband and I were not expecting it to be that much farther than Asciano. Otherwise, everything was wonderful! Thanks.

Everything was excellent. The staff was one of the most gracious in our 3 week tour of Italy. ... The staff went out of its way to make sure our large family of 16 (ages from 2 to 70) had a wonderful, comfortable experience. Several times they served our dinner on the terrace family style. The food was excellent also. ... A bit of heaven in Italy!

Very pleasant and welcoming in every respect. ... We were upgraded to a larger accommodation because they were not very full; much appreciated. We ate dinner at their restaurant, and because it was quite chilly in the evenings with no heat on yet, it would have enhanced the experience greatly to have a fire in the lovely fireplace in the dining room. Waitress one evening was very slow...detracted from our experience and everyone in the dining room was feeling as frustrated as we were. ... Considering the fact that we were upgraded to a better room, our stay was very good value for money. It was too cold to use the swimming pool, so perhaps that was a way of compensating us. ... Minutes it takes to reach a town - minimum of 30. ... Peaceful, lovely views, pastoral, exceptionally well kept.

Needs a bit more of an introduction to the place, e.g. where restaurants and bars are, what facilities are available. ... A truly stunning hotel in a beautiful location. ... The cookery classes and wine tasting are organised individually, and not in pre-organised groups. This makes it very expensive for e.g. couples on their own, who may be willing to join other people to reduce costs.
The courtyard to the restaurant is a stunning place to eat. ... Idyllic.

It would be nice to have a bar where a social drink could be had in the company of other guests

We could change the junior suite, which was very dark and really not very nice into an appartement, which was exactly what we had dreamed of. ... There is one thing which should nocht be included on the web side, but you or the hotel should be informed: The only thing which was not good was the restaurant. We ate there only once because we were treated very bad and unpolite after a complaint about one of the meals.
