 Since then, the farm has preserved it's farming traditions devoted to organic cultivation of the vines and olive groves combining to the most authentic and artisanal methods the greatest technologies. In the gardens of the main villa, there is a secular Lebanese cedar tree of over 250 years old, now become the symbol of the farm. |
 The farm is located on the top of the Montefiesole hill at 450 meters above sea level, only 18 km from Florence. It is situated in the charming landscape of the gentle hills of the Chianti Rufina, rich with vineyards and olive groves, between the towns of Sieci and Pontassieve. |
 Fattoria Lavacchio is and organic established farm extended on 110 hectares, of which 44 hectares are olive grove, 21 hectares are vineyard, 6 are wheat and 9 are woods, where you can even find truffles! There is also a large productive garden with fruit and vegetables, rabbits and chickens. |
 Amongst the Estates of a certain size in the Chianti Rufina production area, Fattoria Lavacchio has been the first one to embrace organic growing programs since always researching harmony between its own activity and the natural balance. |
