We had the most lovely time at Villa La Cappella. Tuscany is so beautiful and the villa is in a particularly lovely part, central for all the hilltop towns and villages and close to Florence and Sienna too. Our stay was made even better by the kindness and generosity of the family Tinalli, particularly Patrizio, Diana and Sonya. Dining on the terrace sharing simple good food with the other guests was a delight. Patrizio's knowledge of the area was very useful, his recommendations took us to some amazing places, if you get the chance to go on any of his Landrover tours - do it.

Patrizio gave us good advice about a more scenic route to Pisa, making our journey home more enjoyable.

Patrizio, Diana and the rest of the family were great. Let them know what you want to do and see while you are in Tuscany.
They can pre-book your entrances at many site (so you don't have to wait in line) and will let you know the best ways to get around, where to park, where to eat, etc.
Join the family dinners when they are available. The price is reasonable, the food is good and the company is excellent.

The owner's welcome was tremendous, and immediately made us feel very relaxed. Although we arrived late he immediately booked us in for dinner, which was delicious.

There is absolutely nothing I could fault about La Capella.We had a room for B&B, but it turned out to be a very pleasant appartment. The swimming pool was the best I have used in an hotel- very large and in a great situation.

We were on a cycling holiday and the owner was very helpful with suggestions as to our route,He also gave us two excellent restaurant tips for our stay in Sienna.Nothing appeared to be too much touble to him, he really seemed to absolutely love his job.

Staying at the Cappela is like being a houseguest in a private villa/small palace.It is isolated so a car (or a bike) is essential.The facilities are great, and the pool is tremendous. Do arrange to eat there- dinner costs 25 Euro, shared table, and the food is delicious.

Sonja was very welcoming and showed us around the property and our apartment. She also made sure that we had all that we needed.

Patricio was an excellant host, always ready to answer any questions or cater for our needs. Our only disappointment was that because our stay was at the end of the season there were too few guests at the hotel to warrant him cooking. So we had to eat out each night.

Because the photo gallery contained a selection of pictures from various apartments it was impossible to know exactly what you were getting.

Initally arrived in the dark very late at night and could not locate the Villa. In the day light it was very easy to find.

Ammenites noted on website were available however an extra charge was frequently associated with them, such as washing machine.

Onsite parking available but difficult to manuver cars around.

had problems finding place initially due to website directions not being available. But staff guided us telephonically.

it is beautiful ..tucked away in the heart of the country. you are surrounded by fields of sunflowers and vineyards. It is very quaint!

I had best experience during my stay at Villa La Cappella; I felt more then welcomed as a guest. Rather, I felt like a family member. I was inclined to reciprocate the care and attention I received by all, especially Patrizio. On one evening did. I helped Partrizio clear the patio table after a fine dinner. I so enjoyed myself and the attention I received by Sophia, and Mr. and Mrs. Tinalli. I plan to return and will contact you again in time. Italy is a beautiful country!

Even that we arrived late (3am) the owner was still waiting for us.

The place is beautiful. The familly that owns the villa are very friendly and helpful, assisting with advice on the surrounding areas and best places to go. The place is very relaxing and feels like home. Much recommended, definately will go back.

We were warmly greeted, even though we arrived after the times stated in the e-mail. We were a little disappointed to find we could only use the terrace if we purchased drinks from the bar - the e-mail response had said that although the room didn't have a balcony, we could use the terrace.

The owner gave excellent recommendation on trips to make, places to visit and booked wonderful restaurants for us, even though the villa had its own restaurant. It made our stay all the more enjoyable

When our hosts saw our large amount of luggage they immediately arranged to improve our room to accommodate it. An upgrade at no charge.

The ambiance was warm and comfortable. The accommodations were casually elegant. The grounds were very well designed and tended. It was difficult to go out and tour Firenze as we wanted to enjoy the Villa!

About one hour to major wineries in the areas of Castellina and Radda di Chianti.
About an hour to Siena.
Nearly an hour by back roads to San Gimignano, which makes an enjoyable day away from the Autostrade.

Definitely out in the countryside so you have to want that. No more than an hour driving to anything you want to see in Chianti. However, you definitely need a car! The Villa itself is a wonderful combination of warm casual and elegant, with 4 course dinners optional so you can arrive back tired and not have to go out and find another place to eat PIZZA! The warmth of the family is very special so you feel comfortable right away. Patrice, Sonia and Diana make your visit and touring very easy and enjoyable.

The shuttle service is not quite as described. You can get a shuttle, but you feel as if you are imposing on the employees, and only as far as is convenient for them, i.e. the closest bus or train station. Otherwise, we had a great time.

Maybe it will be helpful if the owners install a sign or indication at the gate or in front of the property that indicate Hotel Residence Villa La Capella because it is not evident. We localise the place with the pictures seen on Internet.
