 'Il Capiteto' , a more than 150 year old farmhouse, is situated on the western edge of the valley of Conca d'oro, the valley of the golden mussel, which constitutes one of the top vine territories in the Chianti. Being built on a hillside facing westwards, guests can enjoy a beautiful and unrestricted view from most rooms, the balcony and the swimming pool into a typically Tuscan landscape stretching from the former monastery 'Rignana' to San Donato and to Tavernelle in the far horizon.  'Il Capiteto' is tranquil but not remote. The well known tourist places on the Chianti wine route Greve and Panzano are 5 km respectively 4 km away. The farmhouse offers guests privacy as they are the only residents of the estate. The apartment in the main building is 210 mē and was recently completely refurbished so that guests can enjoy the features of a Tuscan farmhouse and the comfort of a new villa.
