the appartment was superior & lovely, the fire place was very romantic & the appartment was bigger than the photos. Enrice, the owner is a lovely person & very helpful.
plus the price is cheap, so it was a good idea to stay there,very value for money! very nice!

about the apartment- its says on the site that it's a twin bed & it's a double (we wanted a double)so we e-mail Enrica that wrote us that it's a double bed & their is a mistake on the site.
plus, I think it'll be better if on the general to said that their is a fire place at each apartment, cause for the torist that not from Eourope its very extraordinary & romantic.

very nice place (swimming pool, very large bed, natural food, quiet and splendid panorama), we have the best place to visit Fiorenze and all around the country.
Good relation ship with the owners, very friendly.
All my friends want now to visit Italy and have their accomodation at Tenuta Cantagallo.

Tenuta Cantagallo far exceeded my expectations; it was everything I had dreamed. The receptionist spoke very good English and was ready to do anything she could to make our stay a pleasure.
The apartment was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Although from the outside it had a traditional look, the inside had very modern facilities-- e.g., bathroom and kitchen were excellent.
The scenery is gorgeous! You feel like you are way out in the country, but the Montelupo supermarket and train station are only about 10-15 minutes away; and Florence is only about 15-20 minutes from there. I would highly recommend this rental property.

We had hoped the tennis facility had been a little better. We are keen players and although the tennis court surface was good the net was badly damaged and could not be adjusted to the correct height. The surrounding fence to the court was damaged and the tennis balls kept getting through, which was inconvenient at times

Good accomodation. Unfortunately there were some noisy neighbours which spoilt our stay but I guess that alters week on week

We came in on a day that they weren't not normally open but found the right person readily enough.

We had a great time. The view was amazing! And just the right distance from so many things. The only downfall I would say was that the hosts didn't speak english very well. And for us who didn't speak any Italian it was a challenge that I'm thinking had we stayed at a normal hotel we wouldn't have faced. But we still enjoyed it and have recommended it to our friends.

We didn't realise they had their own vinyards and olive groves. Maybe that was on there but we missed it when we were looking. That was definitely an added bonus.

The views were incredible. The rooms were awesome and a very good value. We weren't far from Florence but just far enough to be out in the some beautiful countryside.

Beautiful setting, our apartment was just right for our small group (loved the kitchen), very quiet as the villa is somewhat isolated, nice walking opportunities, street to villa is quite adventuresome, the tour and tasting were fabulous!

Well placed for visits to Florence and the region. Quiet tranquil stay in well maintained property with excellent views over beautiful countryside. I wish we'd had more time to explore the countryside on foot .... maybe next time.
