By Bus: there is a bus-stop in San Donato, at 2 km from the hotel.
By Train: there is a railway station in Poggibonsi, at 8 km from the property.
By Car: From North, including Milan and Florence Airport: follow to Highway A1, direction Rome. From South, including Rome and Naples: follow the green Autostrada signs to the A1, direction Florence-Milan. To get the A1 from Fiumicino Airport: follow the green signs for the Highway . Follows the signs for the G.R.A, "Gran Raccordo Anulare" ( this ring road surrounds the city). Get on the G.R.A. in the direction Florence and the Highway A1. You will remain on the G.R.A. for about 10 exits before reaching the one for A1 Florence-Milan.
From Highway A1 - exit at the "Firenze Certosa". Than you immediately come to a large roundabout. Take the immediate right onto the "Raccordo Firenze Siena" (toll-free highway). After 21 Kms, take the exit "San Donato in Poggio". At the t-junction, turn left direction 2San Donato in Poggio-Castellina in Chianti". Follow this road for approximately 3-4 Kms until a turning on the right direction "Cortine". Turn right here and follow this road for about 1 Km. "Canonica di Cortine" is the first group of houses on the right. |
