By car: If you are coming from Siena tke the Cassia street and go across Monteroni d'Arbia, Tressa, Buonconvento and then follow the indications for Montalcino (10 km). If you are coming from the Aurelia take the Grosseto-Siena highway and exit at Paganico, then follow for S.Angelo Scalo, and then Montalcino. If you are coming from A1 take exit Valdichiana and follow the indications for Sinalunga. From there follow for Trequanda, San Giovanni d'Asso, Torrenieri and then Montalcino.
By train: - From Milano Centrale: there is a train almost every hour to get to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (main railway station). It is approximately a 3 hours trip.
- From Firenze SMN: take the train to Siena-Grosseto and get off Buonconvento. From there, you can rent a car or we can organize a pivku service at an extra charge.
- From Roma Termini: there is a train every 30 minutes to go to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (main railway station). From Firenze SMN take the train to Siena-Grosseto and get off Buonconvento. IC trains also stop in Chiusi-Chianciano Terme which is connected to Siena. From Siena take a train to Grosseto and get off Buonconvento. Then we suggest you to take a taxi.
By air: We suggest you to rent a car, because in Montalcino there is no train station. |
