Profile |
Dating back to 1586, the complex was constructed in the Val di Chiana tradition, evident from the particular layout of the structures which make up the complex. Built around a farmyard, the heart of a past domestic life, the central building contains the characteristic arcade, tobacconist, granary and pigsty of the era. |
"Il Caggio" has been completely refurbished, taking care to respect and enhance those characteristics which make a Tuscan home unique. The enormous fireplace, wooden beams and hand laid stone brickwork have all been lovingly restored to their former glory. |
