Profile

The farm holidays Villa Buoninsegna is an agricultural property made of 320 hectors of cultivated fields (like wheat and sunflowers), vineyards, olive groves and enclosed within centuries-old woods. In the heart of the property, surrounded by its secular cypresses, the ancient "Borgo" is dominated by the antique Villa Buoninsegna, once owned by the counts Buoninsegna, that gives its name to the whole property.

Built in 1675 Villa Buoninsegna is an imposing antique property situated in the heart of Tuscany, close to the region of Chianti Classico and to the region of the Crete Senesi. All around the Villa, there are the smaller buildings, once the houses of the farmers who worked and lived at Buoninsegna, which were totally restored and transformed into comfortable and well equipped apartments tastefully furnished with antique furniture perfectly redone by local craftsman.

Outside each apartment has private furnished outdoor areas, with tables and chairs to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Tuscany, as well as shared amenities such as the swimming pool and the barbecue pit. Behind and around the house and the swimming pool, guests can relax in the shade of one of the many trees present on the lawn, especially during very hot and sunny days.

Located few minutes from the old fortified village of Rapolano Terme, situated at 334 mt height, Villa Buoninsegna enjoys splendid views over the surrounding countryside, a hilly area near Siena rich in oak woods, where the bleak "Crete" give way to the first inklings of the Chiana Valley. As is very well connected, this can be considered the ideal place to visit the most important art cities both in Tuscany and in Umbria.
