Accommodations

 All around the Villa, there are the smaller buildings, once the houses of the farmers who worked and lived at Buoninsegna. They were totally restored and transformed into comfortable apartments for up to 14 guests. All the apartments have well equipped kitchen with all the necessary to cook and prepare meals, and also antique furniture perfectly redone by local craftsman. Outside, for each apartment, there are private tables and chairs to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Tuscany. Very close to the apartments, at the end of the olive grove, you will find the private swimming pool and the barbecue. |
 Apartment Colombaia - 2 guests - 38 mē + terrace: This small apartment is very pretty and romantic. Is located on the ground floor and is composed by private entrance, lounge/dining room with TV and kitchen corner, one double bedroom with an antique bed and bathroom with shower. On the floor and in the bathroom there are travertine stone-marble tiles (travertine stone is a typical stone extracted in Rapolano), while the ceilings are adorned with "cotto" tiles. Large private furnished terrace situated over our vineyards. |
 Apartment Limonaia - 4 guests - 80 mē: This nice apartment was totally restored in 1999. It is full of light because it was once used as "limonaia", that means the "house for the lemon trees" that were cultivated on the property, following an old tradition in Tuscany. It is composed by private entrance, lounge/dining room with TV, a big kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with travertine stone tiles and washing machine, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with some beautiful antique furniture. |
 Apartment Podere Goito - 4 guests - 150 mē on 2 floors: This house on 2 floors was once used by the "fattore" (the director of the property) and still keeps its original atmosphere. "Cotto" tiles on the floor, fireplace in the sitting room and so on. Downstairs you find the kitchen and the big sitting room with fireplace and TV. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with antique furniture, one studio and bathroom with bathtub (totally restored in 2003). |
 Apartment Vinsantaia - 4 guests - 85 mē: This nice apartment was totally restored in 1999 respecting its original structure and has some antique furniture. It is composed by private entrance, lounge/dining room with fireplace, a big kitchen with dishwasher, a loft with reading corner and TV, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, one travertine stone tiles bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Apartment Casina Buoninsegna - 6 guests - 120 mē: This big apartment situated on the ground floor of the Villa Buoninsegna has one twin bedroom with bathroom, 2 double rooms each one with private bathroom (= altogether 3 bathrooms), and a big kitchen / living room. Outside there is a private table with chairs. This very cool apartment furnished with some antique precious furniture, is nicely decorated with cotto tiles on the floors and with precious "Vietri" tiles in every bathroom. Facilities of this apartment: dishwasher; safe in every room. |
 Rooms with bed & breakfast service in the Villa:
In 2002/2003 the old XVIth century Villa, situated in the heart of the property, was totally restored. The work were done with the greatest respect for the solemn and majestic architectonic structure of the Villa, that is characterized by the big central hall ("salone") with its antique fireplace and the big family crest-fresco on the vault.
The six rooms situated on the two sides of the hall are characterized by the nice vaults and by the beautiful landscape offered by every window. New bathrooms were inserted, all made with the precious Vietri tiles, some with bath and some with shower. The big rooms, all double rooms for up to twelve guests, were made precious with some antique furniture, partly belonging to the family and partly bought from Tuscan antiquarians. There is also kitchen for the breakfast service that is made with products coming from organic agriculture.
Villa Buoninsegna can be also rented by a group (max 12 guests), who will have the possibility to have their breakfast together around the big central table put into the hall. |
