When we arrive in Arrezo we rang and spoke to Francesca who gave us very clear directions from centre of town and we were very impressed with the entrance driveway and security gate. We were greetted very warmly by staff and made very welcome. Francesco introduced herself to us when she arrive back at the villa. ... The annexe accommodation was extremely comfortable and well equipped. We did not realise we had the use of a kitchen so this was most welcome for making snacks. We enjoyed the outdoor eating area and made good use of that at night for relaxing before and after dinner. The books available in the lounge were also welcome and make for a relaxed stay. ... This was handled very professionally and left us with the feeling we were more than just guests - we were part of the life and history of the villa. ... More details about the annexe accommodation. We only knew about the rooms inside the villa. ... Wonderful and an absolute must if travelling in this area.

Our check in time was quite late - 4pm - 5pm. It would have been useful to have had an earlier arrival time. ... The property was fantastic. We stayed in the suite, which was a fairytale room, very modern and traditional at the same time. 4 poster bed, two sinks our own veranda. Luxurious. ... A fantastic stay. Francessca was the best host, even when she was ill. We went on her cooking course, which was fabulous, and we have used the knowledge for our own dinner parties already! ... Tranquil, in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to Arezzo for dinner. You need a car. The suite was an amazing room, and the pool area always clean and welcoming. Your own kitchen area if you want to prepare food, and a great breakfast (the best in Italy). Do the cookery course - its a must! We'd definitely go back again.

The only problem was in finding the villa once we reached the city of Arezzo as we came by car from Umbria. ... We stayed in the annex to the villa and we were hoping to stay in the villa itself but the rooms were very nice. The only problem was early in the moning the staff was setting up for breakfast and the rooms next to this area found it noisy. ... Very charming surroundings and Francesca was very helpful and pleasant. Arezzo is a must to experience if you are in the area and the villa is close and quiet in the country.

He took the time to show us around, pointing out all of the features. ... Great place!!!! ... Gourmet kitchen and bbq facilities available for use by guests who stay multiple days.
Rooms in annex, where we stayed, have a breakfast area/livingroom/library for use by guests -- so you don't feel couped up in your room. ... A beautiful villa, with landscaped gardens and beautiful accomodations with antiques.

Francesca was lovely and we had a great time. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was more than ample. Thank you. ... We didn't have any directions and came over the mountain behind Villa Bossi following map so couldn't get lost. (Villa Bossi was on the map!)My sister, however, got very lost coming from the autoroute. Don't know what they were using for directions. ... Amazing old villa which has been in the same family for hundreds of years! New annex is the place to stay...very comfortable. The grounds are lovely, with olive trees and hills and inviting swimming pool. Hostess was very helpful with dinner reservations and driving advice.

Very hot and no airconditioning. Had to buy a fan to keep cool. ... By no means a spa resort. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with an excellent pool.
Very hot and no air conditioning/ fan
Breakfast included but inadequate. Dinner must be arranged in advance.
Taxis journeys to the station were expensive at 15 euros each way. Recommend hiring a car to take full advantage of countryside, restaurants, etc in the area.
