Mountain bike and trekking: For those who would like to immerse themselves in the countryside and get a taste of the intense emotions of the land, there is the possibility of excursions in mountain bike or trekking itineraries.
Small library: In the beautiful shed restored with knowledge and respect for the original forms, our gracious guest may select a book from the small library of historical/artistical texts available, take a tour of family’s contemporary art collection, play a game of pool. |

Taste vegetarian dishes and those made from ancient Tuscan receipts: Whether in their restaurant on the inside of the shed, at the edge of the swimming pool or on the large terrace that dominates the entire valley below, Susanna and Massimo invite their guests to taste vegetarian dishes and those made from ancient Tuscan receipts which have been revisited and enriched with new flavours and local herbs, thanks to the imagination and flair of Grandmother Matilde who jealously guards these exquisite secrets. |
 Cooking courses & basket weaving: We offer occasione for guests to learn traditional tuscan cousine and basket-weaving(on request, minimum 10 participants) which is ancient art of our countryside.
Guided tours: we organise visits to ceramic workshops or to the studios of painters and sculptors. and guided tours to the nearby cities or you can participate in alternative itineraries that allow an experience of the ancient atmospheres, for example, a trip along the "via Francigena o Romea" to numerous parish churches and pilgrim’s hospitals or theme itineraries such as the literary itinerary in the city of Florence, with visits to the abodes of poets and writers.
Participating in the grape harvest and picking olives: During harvest time there is the very special sensation of participating in the grape harvest together with the farmers, being part of the first phases of the wine production, and ending in the traditional harvest dinner. During the month of November it is possible to pick the olives, watch them being pressed in the oil mill and have a taste of the delicious new olive oil that is such an essential part of our civilisation. |
