Accommodations
|
 The village is constituted by varied buildings that entertain the apartments and the structures for the guests: The "Canonica", The "Rose" House, The "Ginestra" House, The "Albicocco" House, and The "Granaio" Building. Crisp white "pizzo" (broderie anglaise) curtains, pretty hand-painted tiles, elegant lamps, painted wrought iron bedsteads, handsome old country -stile furniture, terracotta floors and beamed ceilings give the apartments their traditional Tuscan feel. All the apartments are equipped with kitchen utensils and automatic dishwashers, satellite-TV and separate heating units. The apartments are also provided with linen and towels.
The "Canonica" This is the oldest building of the Borgo (11th century), in front of the San Lorenzo Church. During the most interesting period of the Borgo's history three friars lived there. On the Northeast corner there is the base of an ancient tower that is also depicted in the painting (dated 1500), which represents the battle between Florentines and Senese happened here in 1479.
There is three spacious apartments.
"Alloro" 2 guests - The apartment, approx. 70 mē, is on the ground floor and it's the base of the ancient tower. At the entrance there is a wide living room whit kitchen and fireplace, then through an archway we enter in the bedroom with a double bed and a sofa. Take three steps up, leading you into the bathroom with shower and bath. There is also a storeroom opposite. Outside there is loggia whit garden furniture. |
 "Cipresso" 5 guests - The apartment, approximately 100 mē, is on the 1° floor, which is accessible by stairs. Enter into a wide living room with large dining table a beautiful big ancient fireplace. On the same of the floor there is the kitchen, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with hydro massage. There is a lovely wooden staircase extending from the living room to the 2° floor. The 2nd floor has a big bedroom with a double and a single bed (sleeps up to three people). The outdoor space with garden furniture is on the ground level at the front of the apartment entrance. |
 "Fico" 4 guests - The apartment, approximately 90 mē, is situated on the ground floor of the Canonica, and it has the view of River Elsa valley. Enter into a large, spacious, living room with sofas and TV, then into the kitchen with a balcony a hallway leading to the sleeping area made up of a double bed bedroom, a twin bedroom. Next to the twin room there is blue ceramic bathroom with a bath. To the left of the apartment entrance there is a shaded area with outdoor furniture. Close to the Canonica there are common facilities such as the ancient wood fine pizza oven, a barbecue panoramic terrace with tables, deck chairs and sun umbrellas. |
 The "Ginestra" House 4 guests - Situated at the grand level, it has a wonderful view of the valley of the river Elsa. The apartment was originally one of the barns of the Borgo. It has a large living room with dining table and kitchen, a twin bedroom and double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. There is a lovely private patio with garden furniture under some trees.
The "Albicocco" House 2 guests - Situated at grand level, it also has a wonderful view of the valley, the Castle Rocchetta and the big clear blue swimming pool. Outside the front of the entrance there is a small terrace, and another space with garden furniture. |
 The "Granaio" Building: It's an old building situated on the right of the Rose's House courtyard. In the past it was used to dry the wheat. In this rustic building, now there are 2 apartments: "Granaio" and "Girasole", and an Enoteca-bar (cavern) where good local Tuscan wines can be tasted."
"Girasole" 2 guests - This apartment is approx. 40 mē. On the ground floor there is a living-dining room with a yellow ceramic tiled kitchen and a bathroom with a bath. Climb the wooden stairs to enter the open plan attic bedroom. Outside there is a patio with furniture. |
 "Granaio" 2 guests - Situated on ground level, with two floors, approx. 45 mē. On the ground floor there is a living-dining room with blue ceramic tiled kitchen. The first floor is accessible by a rather steep wooden staircase. Here there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath.
"The Rose House" - Situated opposite la Canonica, this is the Bandini's family villa with 2 floors, approx. 360 mē. The roses house is joined on to the historical S. Lorenzo Church outside in the front courtyard. The first floor is the private rooms of the family. Here is located the biggest apartment of Borgo San Lorenzo: "Rosa Bianca Apartment".
"Rosa Bianca" 5+2 guests 150mq - this apartment on the first floor has an independent entrance, 3 double rooms, 1 single room, 3 bathrooms (one with jacuzzi hydromassage), spacious sittingroom with TV-sat and a kitchen with fireplace. Guests can enjoy a nice space at the open air equiped with chairs and table to pic nic. |
