Would highly recommend this lovely property.
Owner and staff were very nice and the facilities excellent, my partner and I were most impressed and would love to stay there again, should we ever visit that beautiful part of Italy again.

From the patio/swimming pool areas you have a lovely view of San Gimignano which is one of the most beautiful, charming and atmospheric places I have ever had the pleasure to visit.

If you want to stay in a family run converted farmhouse with superb facilities at a realistic price with arguably one of the most beautiful locations in Europe at you doorstep, then Antico Borgo il Cardino should come high on your list for consideration.

The place was great, people were very friendly and accomodating and everything just worked out very nicely. Would highly recommend this place to others, it is conveniently located, access roads are great and we had a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antico Borgo il Cardino. The rooms were clean and seemed recently refurbished to a high standard. The breakfast was vey good and the staff were very friendly. We would recommend the place for anyone staying in Tuscany.

Antico Borgo il Cardino is a lovely B&B, in a beautiful location in the hills of Tuscany, a few minutes from San Gimignano. The rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable and the breakfast buffet is delicious, including home made pastry. The owners really make guests feel like family. They even fly the flags of the countries of the guests while there.

Check out was quick and efficient, with prices exactly as quoted. The owners even loaded our luggage in the car! We hated to leave this lovely site.

We loved Antico Borgo il Cardino -- a lovely B&B in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the buffet at breakfast is delicious, and the swimming pool inviting. This is a wonderful place to relax and explore the hill towns of Tuscany.
We definitely plan on returning for another stay!

My husband and I actually increased the length of our original stay, and even returned again during our trip. The Albergo was quiet, peaceful, well taken care of and the staff were wonderfully friendly and eager. The view was wonderful, the pool was fabulous and the breakfast was widely varied and well presented. (great coffee with hot milk!). There is local wine available at the Albergo, and there is a small store and a quaint little restaurant within a short walk.
By far, this was the best small town hospitality we saw in Tuscany.

There is really not a dinner available, though there is a menu for food... the staff is willing to accommodate most requests.

We had a problem with our rental car while we were in Tuscany. The assistance we received from the staff at Antico in trying to contact the rental car company and get it resolved was very helpful, which we thoroughly appreciated.

We thought we'd have a view from our apartment but didn't. We didn't recall seeing this fact on their website. This didn't detract too much, though.
