By car
from Florence or Rome: Take A1 Highway (Milano-Napoli), exit at Valdarno and follow directions to Montevarchi and then take the road s.s.408 to Siena or Gaiole in Chianti. From the village of Gaiole in Chianti follow the directions for "Borgo Casa al Vento" and Barbischio. Before entering the hamlet of Barbischio, turn right and then follow the road for 1.5 km.
By train or airplane:
You can either arrive at Firenze central railway station, or at Firenze, Pisa or Bologna airports. You will then have to arrange your travel by taxi or car rental. We have special arrangements set in place with some local companies that offer these services.
