 Restaurant: Some of the authentic Tuscan meals are served in the ancient wine cellar: here breakfast and dinner are served in a simple yet refined atmosphere. If you prefer you can cook your own meal in our barbecue area.
Barbecue: We have a barbecue and a antique wood oven.
Vineyards & olive groves: Borgo Casa al Vento is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards: our Chianti wines and extra virgin olive oils are our main products, all available for purchase. |
 Swimming pool: A very beautiful heated swimming pool with hydromassage, located in a panoramic position, surrounded by wooded hillsides, offering a unique view over Chianti landscape. Open from April to October.
Tennis court: It's possible to practice tennis on our own tennis court in a position of absolut privacy. |
 Mountain-bike: You can rent mountain bike's to discover the landscape.
Fishing lake: We have a small fishing lake on the grounds complete with fountain, water works, goats, ducks, swans and hens. Here you can relax enjoying the warm sun and the beauty of landscape. We do not hire out fishing equipments.
Zoo: We have a fenced park with animals.
Trekking: there is a lot of trails for hikers around Borgo Casa al Vento.
Laundry: there is a washing machine in the utility room for communal use. |

Churchs: There is a chapel at Casa al Vento. At Barbischio there is a little church, on sunday the Mass is at 11.00am. At Gaiole in Chianti there is the Cathedral, on Sunday the mass is at 07.30, 11.00am and at 17.00pm.
Food Shops: The food shops are located in the main street of Gaiole in Chianti. Open 08.30/13.00-17.00/19.30 Monday to Saturday. There is a Hypermarket (Ipercoop) at Montevarchi. Open Tuesday to Saturday 09.00am-21.00pm (Closed on Sunday and Mondays).
Bar: Bar Centrale in Via Ricasoli, which also sells bus-tickets and english newspapers and magazines.
Banks: There are 3 banks in the main street. The bancomat (cash dispensers) accepts Credit Cards.
Chemist: The nearest chemist is located in Via Ricasoli and is open 09.00-13.00 a.m and 16.00-20.00 p.m.
Post Office: is located next to the curch open Mon-Fri 08.30-13.30 and Saturday 08.30-12.30.
Petrol: direction to Siena, road S.S. 408 Monday to Saturday 07.30/12.30 and 15.30/19.30.
