 The Tuscany Arts and Crafts Center of Il Borgo offers the opportunity to join classes in:
CHIANTI WINE LESSONS- wine of Chianti! Under expert guidance, participants will taste and learn
about one of the famous Italian wine reigions.
2 day course, 2 hrs per day, Euro 50 per attendee.
CONVERSATIONAL ITALIAN- during this class, the instructor will open participants mind and ears to the melodic sounds of the Italian language, discuss current Tuscan topics and teach new words and phrases.
4 day course, 2 hrs per day, Euro 35 per attendee.

 PAINTING ON CERAMICS: this class guides the participants through the process of preparing terracotta plates and other objects for painting. A ceramic oven fires the designs, ideal mementoes to display at home.

PHOTOGRAPHY- the instructor, a local professional photographer, will share camera techniques and inspire participants to enhance their creativity.

 TUSCAN ART & HISTORY- covering the art, culture and history of Tuscany, these lectures give
participants unique insights into the region.
2 day course, 2 hrs per day, Euro 35 per attendee.
WATERCOLOURS: equipped with easel, drawing-paper, watercolours and brushes, participants
will depict Tuscan vistas with guidance from a well-know local artist.
2 day course, 2 hrs per day, Euro 35 per attendee;
4 day course, 2 hrs per day, Euro 70 per attendee.
Each small class typically has no more than 6/8 participants. Faculty comes from the Tuscan community and is well versed in the region's traditions. Pre-registration to courses is required. The nominal fee includes class materials. |
