By Plane
Peretola airport in Florence welcomes flights from all over the world on a regular basis, and is easily connected to Santa Maria Nouvella station in the centre of the city. The inn offers a shuttle service from this airport to the property. An alternative terminal where to land could be Bologna, placed more or less 80 kms away from Borgo dei Sensi.
By Car
The airport in the outskirts of Florence is found around 40 kilometres from the property (approx. an hour trip). As you come out of the terminal, take highway A11/E76. Drive towards the exit for Prato Est and go in the direction "PRATO/ VAIANO/ VERNIO/ CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA/ MONTEMURLO/ QUESTURA". Continue along road SP126 and you will reach Prato, where at a roundabout you must take the first exit into Viale della Reppublica. Keep on straight and turn right in Viale Borgovalsugana. Afterwards go along Via Sem Benelli and Via Raffaelo Lambruschini. You will approach three roundabouts: at the first, take the second exit (Via Vittorio Emanuelle Orlando), at the second go along the second exit (Via Giovanni Miniati) and at the third, take the first way out (Via Galileo Galilei). Once you leave Prato behind, drive along road SS325, pass the towns of La Briglia and Vaiano and turn right in Localitá Lastrone. You will arrive in Vernio, where you will be picked up by the owners of the property in order to reach your room as soon as possible.
By Train
Roberta and Lorenzo, the owners of Borgo dei Sensi, offer a shuttle service to the property from the airport and the station in Vernio, placed 3 kilometres away. You can easily come to this destiny by train from Santa Maria Novella station in Florence or from Bologna, both trips take around an hour. Every thirty minutes you will find buses leaving from the station in Vernio: they leave you off only ten minutes on foot from the property. |
