| | Facilities within the Property |
 There is a large swimming pool (6x12 mt) on the property and we supply beach towels for our guests. There is also a ping pong table. Also outside there is a barbecue/grill and an antique oven which guests can use for baking bread and pizza. There is a conference and meetings room. Group vacationers are allowed and families with small children are welcome as there is an external area with games. Pets are welcome as well. |
 There is a laundry room, with a washing machine and all the necessary equipment to do the ironing, on the ground floor. Cooking Courses (min 4 people) can be organised on request. We can also suggest places for Excursions and Trekking and we have Mountain bikes (n.7), free for our guests. You may use a bike to enjoy yourself in the countryside, or to visit the other villages in the area. Vacations can be reserved for short periods also (only in Season A - B). |

 Restaurants
Although the apartments have well equipped kitchens, it is also nice to try one of the charming small restaurants in the old villages around us in the countryside. In these small Trattorias you can taste the real cuisine of Maremma region, which can satisfy everyone's tastes, (vegetarians included), or simply have a Pizza, all with reasonable prices.
The Sea
You can get the seaside by car in about 20 minutes drive. The nearest beaches are situated in Marina di Alberese (inside the National Park of "Uccellina"), Talamone, Marina di Grosseto, Principina, Castiglione della Pescaia.
Horseback riding
There is a riding school at a distance 18 km.
Golf field
You can find one in Talamone, about 20 km from the Farmhouse.
Tennis
Tennis courts are only 14 km.
The islands
From Porto Santo Stefano (30 km) there is a ferry service to the island of Giglio, the trip there only takes about one hour and it is really worth it. There
is a service also to the island of Giannutri.
Parks
The national park of the "Uccellina" , at 20 km, has marked foothpaths which lead you through beautiful pine woods to hidden creeks, past romantic ruins of fortified watch-towers to the Abbey of San Rabano, built by monks who arrived from Rhodes in the 10th century.
Archaeological ruins
Visit the archaeological site of Roselle and the Archaeological Museum of Maremma, the little village of Sorano, Sovana and Pitigliano.
Thermal spas
The Terme of Saturnia are just 40 minutes by car. The thermal baths of Saturnia are famous all over the world for the virtues of their waters, for mud bath treatments and for high quality make-up products. Since ancient times, Saturnia's history is linked up with her water which springs out at 37,5° from a natural crater, in fact in these places "cult of waters" rituals were celebrated.

In Grosseto you can find any kind of shops (banks, chemist, gas stations, railway station, buses, taxi service, restaurants, typical tuscany "trattorias", pizzerias, supermarkets, and everything you may need to complete your vacation. |
