The Mugello was a very much loved land by the Medici Family, which originally seems to come from Campiano near Barberino di Mugello. In this area the Medici and Lorenzo il Magnifico left many beautiful signs, of growing wealth and political power which was closely tied to the most innovative artistic and endeavours of the time.
Food Shops: Close to here there is a small supermarket, open from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 1pm and from 5pm to 8pm (closed on Wednesday afternoon and on Sunday), and many others small general store which are open on Sunday morning during the summer period. |
